Wiradjuri Biodiversity Garden at Young High School

The Wiradjuri Biodiversity Garden was established in 2008 at Young High School.

This Cultural Heritage Award-winning garden was the brainchild of geography teacher Ben Cooper.

The garden is based entirely on native plants and the design includes a kangaroo-shaped lawn area and several aboriginal art murals designed by Aunty Enid and the students, engaging students of Young High School to create an outdoor learning space with links to Wiradjuri culture.
