This year, Young North Public School has been working on developing our Aboriginal students’ capacity to utilise the MGoals goal-setting tool as the platform for ongoing student personalised learning for planning, tracking and student feedback.
Mr Bauhammer has really enjoyed working with the students to help them get to know the user-friendly format of the site and helping guide their thinking around what goals they would like to include in their focus.
Mr B said, “while it is early days, the students really loved the web-based tool compared to pen and paper and I can see how the inbuilt properties of feedback form both teachers and potentially parents can help support the learning and also broader needs of our Indigenous and broader school student body”.
